Mathematics
Confidence is key to a child's learning journey. At Learning for Enrichment, I work closely with students to help them build self-esteem while mastering challenges that come up in their learning. By providing positive reinforcement and targeted support, I ensure that every child feels capable and motivated to excel. We apply a range of teaching methods in number and all strands of mathematics to support children to learn in the best way that they can.
Early years support - number, phonics and sound patterns
At Learning for Enrichment, I provide tailored tutoring sessions for the early years, supporting children who struggle with early concepts in the classroom and also for those who require help with phonics sounds and number recognition. The foundations of learning are key to a child's progress in future schooling years. With a vast amount of classroom experience, I tailor lessons to engage students and make learning enjoyable but effective. Each session is crafted to boost confidence and academic skills, ensuring your child reaches their full potential.
Additional learning needs support
I believe that every child learns differently. I take the time to understand your child's strengths and weaknesses, creating a tailored learning experience that caters specifically to their individual learning requirements. Our goal is to make learning accessible and enjoyable for all students.
Literacy and reading support
I teach effective reading skills for students from Prep to Year 6, helping students to decode words, to read and make meaning from various text types through work with inferential and literal texts. Nurturing reading comprehension and literacy is essential for writing success.
Spelling, grammar and punctuation
I offer expert guidance in spelling and conventions of language such as grammar and punctuation in writing for everyday learning in the classroom and in preparation for Naplan and classroom assessment tasks.
